SYSTEM: CONFIG: No DNS Server found error

Problem Description

When using AspEmail's EmailAgent service, the following error may appear in the log:

SYSTEM: CONFIG: No DNS Server found

Solution

Open the registry by running regedit and go to the key

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

Under that key, add the string value NameServer and set the value to the address of your DNS, such as 192.168.1.1.
